FC 24: A Debate Between Mbappe and Football Legends

In the vibrant and competitive realm of EA FC 24, the perennial debate over the title of the best player rages on. This time, the focus centers on the formidable 93 POTM Mbappe, sparking a heated discussion between friends who grapple with the question of whether Mbappe surpasses football legends like Pele, R9, Dinho, and Cruyff. Let’s delve into the arguments and perspectives surrounding this compelling debate.

Mbappe’s Case: The Protagonist’s Perspective

  1. Pace and Agility: Mbappe’s explosive speed and unparalleled agility on the virtual pitch have become the stuff of legends. These attributes contribute to his ability to weave through defenses with remarkable ease, creating goal-scoring opportunities that set him apart.
  2. Versatility: Mbappe’s versatility is a key factor in his claim to the throne. His proficiency in various attacking positions, coupled with a skill set that encompasses both finishing and playmaking, makes him a dynamic force on the field.
  3. Impact in Big Moments: Advocates for Mbappe argue that his presence and impact in crucial moments elevate him to the status of the best player. Whether it’s scoring a last-minute winner or turning the tide in high-pressure situations, Mbappe’s influence is undeniable.

The Legends’ Camp: Debating the All-Time Greats

  1. Legacy and Career Achievements: Proponents of football legends like Pele, R9, Dinho, and Cruyff emphasize the weight of their legacies and career achievements. These players have left an indelible mark on the sport, conquering multiple eras and etching their names in football history.
  2. Skill and Artistry: The artistry and flair displayed by the football legends are touted as unparalleled. From Pele’s mesmerizing dribbles to R9’s clinical finishing, each legend brings a unique set of skills that reflects the essence of football craftsmanship.
  3. Consistency and Longevity: The longevity and consistency of football legends throughout their careers are underscored. Unlike a single-season standout, the enduring brilliance of these players over the years is seen as a testament to their enduring greatness.

Navigating the Subjectivity of Player Ratings

  1. Individual Preferences: The debate over the best player is inherently subjective, influenced by individual preferences and playstyles. What may appeal to one player might not resonate with another, adding a layer of personal bias to the discourse.
  2. Game Meta and Updates: The ever-evolving game meta and periodic updates from EA Sports play a significant role. Changes in player ratings, attributes, and in-game mechanics can reshape the hierarchy of players, impacting perceptions of their effectiveness on the virtual pitch.

Closing Thoughts: The Elusive Title of “Best Player”
As the debate between Mbappe and the football legends unfolds, it becomes clear that there may never be a definitive answer to the question of the “best player” in EA FC 24. The diverse factors at play, from individual preferences to the evolving game landscape, contribute to a dynamic and ever-changing narrative.

In the end, the discussion between friends serves as a testament to the richness of EA FC 24, where virtual debates mirror the passionate discussions that unfold on real-world football pitches. Whether Mbappe’s prowess trumps the legacy of football legends or vice versa, the beauty of the debate lies in the endless possibilities and perspectives that make EA FC 24 a captivating and continually evolving gaming experience.

EA FC24: My brain just can’t seem to grasp the game

Why is the game so challenging this year?

I’ve been playing every year since FIFA 14, and I consider myself an above-average player, usually hovering around Division 2 or 3 and securing 13-14 wins in the Weekend League.

However, this year, my brain just can’t seem to grasp the game. I’m struggling to break out of Division 6, currently sitting at 3-11 in the Weekend League and consistently losing games by substantial margins.

I feel like there’s something I’m missing with this game. Opponents effortlessly dribble around me, and when I attempt left stick dribbling, my players seem to move much slower than my opponents and lose the ball immediately. I understand the basics—making runs, calling players towards the ball—to beat the press, but I can barely get the ball out of my own half. Every bounce seems to go against me.

The game just isn’t enjoyable anymore. I don’t feel competitive in any match. While I acknowledge it’s probably a bit more realistic than the older FIFA versions, I miss how the game used to be. Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue this year, or am I just terrible now?

It seems like you’re dealing with delay. The game is running faster for your opponents than for you.

What’s peculiar is that it’s consistently one-sided delay. I can tell when I don’t have delay and my opponent does. My team presses and cuts off passing lanes when I’m just on Balanced. My AI players work hard without suffering stamina loss.

In moments without delay, my Okocha can dribble past five players, execute a rainbow flick, and score top corner when I have a significant advantage.

On the flip side, this week in the Weekend League, I’ve experienced delay and erratic matchmaking all weekend. My players struggle to defend, release opponents, and don’t press even when I switch to Constant Pressure.

Moreover, my attackers are consistently covered by defenders, regardless of my formation.

I’ve rarely encountered a Weekend League where the entire weekend felt like this. But every single night, it’s the same struggle.

I’ve never said I’m done with a FIFA title before, as I knew there would be periods of enjoyment again. However, with this one, I’m getting close to giving up on it entirely.

By the way, anyone help me? Give me some FC 24 Coins skills & guides, thank you.
